Job Responsibility:
Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties
Supporting students with classroom routines, behaviour management, and personal care when necessary
Using tailored communication to meet the individual needs of students
Developing positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents
Promoting positive social interactions and supporting students' emotional well-being
Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum
Preparing and setting up learning resources
Monitoring and recording student progress
Requirements:
Experience supporting children with SEN in school, residential, or care settings
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Hold an Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or are willing to obtain one)
Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to work long term full-time
Ideally available for 5 days a week (Monday - Friday)
Relevant experience and qualifications are preferred but not essential
