Job Description:

Are you interested in a full-time position as a SEN Teaching Assistant that offers exceptional training prospects and the chance to advance in your career? Do you have a strong passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? This role requires patience, empathy, and commitment to assist students on their educational path. The school is an independent, specialised day school for pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues, and associated behavioural difficulties.

Job Responsibility:

Support learners individually, in small groups, and in whole-class settings
Create a warm, caring, and supportive environment for students, fostering a sense of safety and enjoyment in their learning journey
Contribute to delivering high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities that align with a diverse and comprehensive curriculum
Aim to help pupils reach their full potential across all areas of learning

Requirements:

Relevant childcare experience (voluntary or paid) (Must be able to provide references)
Experience working or volunteering with SEN (desirable)
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
