Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant role supporting students with Severe, Complex and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and ASD in a well-resourced SEN school in Newham

Job Responsibility:

Support students aged 11-19 with Severe, Complex and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and ASD
Work with children who have range of complex needs including learning, behavioural and physical needs
Support speech and behavioural needs

Requirements:

SEN experience, particularly PMLD & SLD
Graduate with keen interest in SEN, Teaching and Child-Psychology
Resilience in managing behaviour of children with complex needs
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to change quickly
Understanding of and genuine commitment to Inclusion
DBS required

Nice to have:

Experience with PMLD & SLD
Interest in Teaching and Child-Psychology
