Job Description:

A Reworded SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancy. Are you a proactive and caring individual eager to make a difference in education? We are looking for a reliable and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN department in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term role, starting in September.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both in group activities and one-on-one sessions
  • Encourage student engagement and contribute to their emotional well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a dedicated team

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to obtain one)
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive education
