SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils across mixed-age and ability classes
• Work closely with a pupil's allocated 'key worker' to ensure the smooth day-to-day organisation of their individualised program
• Assist in the implementation of teaching programs based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
• Contribute to creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and class staff

• Passionate about working with children and young people with ASC
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Committed to continuous learning and professional development
• Previous experience working with individuals with ASC or in a SEN environment is highly desirable
