SEN Teaching Assistant

• Offer one-to-one and small group support to children with various needs, such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties
• Help carry out Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Work with the class teacher and SENCO to provide personalised learning
• Encourage students to develop confidence, social skills, and emotional control
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space

• Experience with children with SEN (either in a school or care environment)
• A patient, nurturing, and flexible attitude
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one)
