SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 Support | Local Secondary Schools. Position: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term Time Only). Salary: £88.92 - £100 per day (Weekly Pay). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you passionate about neurodiversity and mental health? Join a supportive secondary team as an SEN Teaching Assistant and turn 'small wins' into life-changing progress. We are looking for empathetic individuals to support students with Additional Needs (SEND), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Job Responsibility:

Work 1:1 to implement EHCP targets using sensory breaks, visual timetables, and simplified tasks
Assist students in developing self-regulation skills and social confidence in a mainstream or resource-base setting
Work closely with the SENCO, parents, and external therapists to track progress and adjust support strategies
Ensure every student feels safe, valued, and included in school life
