Job Description

An inclusive and welcoming SEN secondary school based in the Borough of Merton is searching for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This role is perfect for any graduates looking to pursue a career in Education, Therapy, Psychological Research, Mental Health, Speech and Language and many more! The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant would be a dedicated individual interested in working with children with SEND/SEMH. You will be supported by a fantastic team of teachers and teaching assistants looking to provide equal opportunities for all.

Job Responsibility

Providing support to pupils with complex SEN needs
Working alongside an inclusive and helpful team
Assisting teaching staff within the classroom
Supervise external/internal examinations
Work with pupils 1-1 or in small groups with regard to SEN needs, behaviour and learning

Requirements

Hardworking and committed to improve the learning experience of children
At least 1 year of experience working with children with SEN
A passion for education and learning
A degree is desirable but not essential

Nice to have
