Primary SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 Support | Local Primary Schools. A Career Built on Impact, Not Just Academics. We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Support Assistants to work within EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about child development, neurodiversity, and mental health. You will support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Speech and Language challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Personalised 1:1 Support
Implement tailored activities to meet EHCP targets
Sensory & Visual Learning
Utilise creative tools such as PECS, Now & Next boards, and sensory breaks
Holistic Care
Support children with social skills, emotional regulation, and personal care needs
Collaborative Support
Work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO
Requirements:
Naturally patient
Relevant experience from a school, nursery, healthcare, or personal lived experience with SEND
Strong communicator
Committed to Safeguarding and child welfare
Hold an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
Ability to track progression in attainment
