Job Description:

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 Support | Local Primary Schools. A Career Built on Impact, Not Just Academics. We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Support Assistants to work within EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about child development, neurodiversity, and mental health. You will support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Speech and Language challenges.

Job Responsibility:

  • Personalised 1:1 Support
  • Implement tailored activities to meet EHCP targets
  • Sensory & Visual Learning
  • Utilise creative tools such as PECS, Now & Next boards, and sensory breaks
  • Holistic Care
  • Support children with social skills, emotional regulation, and personal care needs
  • Collaborative Support
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO

Requirements:

  • Naturally patient
  • Relevant experience from a school, nursery, healthcare, or personal lived experience with SEND
  • Strong communicator
  • Committed to Safeguarding and child welfare
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
  • Ability to track progression in attainment
  • Background in youth work
  • Behaviour management
