Job Responsibility:
Personalised 1:1 Support: Implement tailored activities to meet EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets
Sensory & Visual Learning: Utilise creative tools such as PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), "Now & Next" boards, and sensory breaks
Holistic Care: Support children with social skills, emotional regulation, and personal care needs where required
Collaborative Support: Work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO to create a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment
Requirements:
Naturally patient
Relevant experience from a school, nursery, healthcare, or personal lived experience with SEND
Strong communicator
Committed to Safeguarding and child welfare
Hold an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
Ability to track progression in attainment
