Job Description:

We are recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a primary school in Lancing. You will provide structured support to children with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum in a positive and engaging way.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver targeted interventions
  • Adapt classroom materials
  • Support behaviour management strategies
  • Assist with personal care if required

Requirements:

  • Experience with SEN in a primary environment
  • Calm, patient and adaptable personality
  • Team player with strong organisational skills

Nice to have:

  • ability to track progression in attainment
  • background in youth work
  • experience in administering medication
  • experience in managing challenging behaviour
  • experience with autism spectrum disorders
  • experience with learning difficulties
  • experience with social emotional mental health
