SEN Teaching Assistant - Day-to-Day Supply

• Provide 1:1 and small group intervention for pupils with complex learning needs
• Implement tailored EHCP goals while fostering a Nurturing Independence mindset
• Manage classroom transitions and use de-escalation techniques to maintain a calm environment
• Collaborate closely with Class Teachers and SENCOs to track and celebrate student progress

• Proven experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
• Resilience and patience: The ability to remain a calm port in a storm during challenging behaviours
• Technical Savvy: Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or Team-Teach is highly desirable
• Compliance: You must hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check on the update service
• Local Knowledge: Ideally based in or around Bristol and ready to hit the ground running
