Job Description:

A wonderful term‑time only nursery is looking for a kind, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and work with small groups of children with complex needs. This is a high‑impact, deeply rewarding role where your support makes a genuine difference every day.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting individual and small‑group learning through play
Using visuals, routines and sensory strategies to help children regulate
Helping children develop communication, early social skills and confidence
Working closely with the SENCo and lead practitioners to follow support plans
Building positive, trusting relationships with both the children and their families
Creating a warm, nurturing environment where children can thrive

Requirements:

Experience in Early Years, SEN, care or nursery settings
Someone patient, gentle, and consistent
A great communicator who can work collaboratively
A positive, nurturing presence
Someone reliable and passionate about helping children with additional needs
A team player who is happy to get stuck in
