Job Description

SEN Teacher - Key Stage 3 Specialist. Location: Hinckley Salary: £32,916 - £45,352 per annum (M1 - M6 scale) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 Hours per Week, Term Time Only). The Opportunity: Transform Potential into Progress. Are you a teacher who finds more joy in a breakthrough moment than a standardised test score? We are looking for a creative and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our Hinckley-based team. In this role, you will move away from the 'one-size-fits-all' classroom and move toward a truly personalised, relationship-based education. Working with young people aged 7 to 19 (with a specific focus on Key Stage 3), you will help students who have struggled in mainstream settings to find their feet, build their confidence, and rediscover a love for learning.

Job Responsibility

  • lead learning in practical subjects like Cooking and Preparation for Adulthood (PFA)
  • collaborate with Site Lead Teachers to design multi-sensory experiences
  • be a voice for your learners
  • assist Learning Managers with assessments, progress tracking, and detailed reporting for transition planning
