Job Description:

January marks the commencement of a busy and vital teaching period. Randstad is actively recruiting a highly versatile SEN Teacher to provide essential cover and continuity in SEN schools across Liverpool. This is an excellent chance to immediately leverage your skills, ensuring seamless, purposeful learning continues for every child, right from the start of the Spring Term. We need a professional who can hit the ground running and quickly become an indispensable asset.

Job Responsibility:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Taking pre-existing lesson plans and executing them flawlessly, delivering impactful educational sessions across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 stages
  • Positive Climate: Utilising proactive management strategies to instantly establish a safe, focused, and inclusive atmosphere for all pupils
  • Versatility: Seamlessly transitioning between different year groups and school settings, gaining broad exposure and enriching your teaching portfolio
  • Collaboration: Working effectively alongside support staff and school leadership to maintain the flow of learning and uphold the school's standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong working familiarity with the primary curriculum
  • A calm, resourceful, and commanding presence able to lead any primary classroom with confidence and creativity
  • A professional who embraces variety, adapts instantly to new challenges, and is reliable and punctual
  • Holds a valid Enhanced DBS certificate or is prepared to secure one immediately
