We are working closely with a special Education needs school in Bedford and are looking for a talented SEN Teacher who has experience working in different key stages. The School is looking for a multi-talented Teacher to work with children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This setting supports 80+ pupils between the ages of 5-18 years and is an educational provision that offers a primary and secondary education.
Job Responsibility
Working with small groups and 1:1
Assisting pupils with academic tasks
Encouraging independence
Safeguarding all children
Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs
Positive outlook and attitude
Being flexible, caring and nurturing
Knowledge of various teaching methods
Good organisational and verbal communication skills
Requirements
Teaching experience & qualifications - PGCE, QTS
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Eligibility to work in the UK
