Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for helping others to join a specialist educational team as a Trainee SEN / CABAS Teacher. No teaching qualification is required to start-we will fully train you, pay for your qualifications, and support you every step of the way.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing and delivering fun, interactive teaching sessions
  • Helping pupils develop life-changing communication, social, and emotional skills
  • Accompanying pupils on fun off-site trips and community activities
  • Supporting pupils with daily routines, including playtime, lunch, and personal care

Requirements

  • Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., care work, volunteering, tutoring, or family care)
  • A minimum of Grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • A calm nature-comfortable managing high-pressure situations or dysregulated behaviours
  • The physical energy to keep up with an active school day (lots of moving, standing, and playing!)
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude and a genuine desire to learn
  • Enhanced DBS check
