SEN Teacher Opportunity. Are you an exceptional and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? Our school is a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive special school catering to pupils aged 2 to 19 with a diverse range of educational needs, including: Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Needs (PMLD), Autism (ASC).

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering a broad, balanced, and vibrant curriculum
  • Tailoring content to meet the highly complex individual needs of pupils within assigned key stage
  • Collaborating closely with therapists, medical staff, and specialists in a multi-professional, holistic environment
  • Developing bespoke strategies to ensure every pupil achieves their personal, social, and academic best

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in working with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Disabilities
  • Creative and flexible teacher, confident in adapting curriculum content to meet complex needs
  • Committed to promoting independence, self-esteem, and communication in all pupils
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, dedicated to working effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
