We are looking for a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join our brand-new SEND Secondary School in Surrey. Opened in September 2025, our school supports students aged 11-16 with social communication, emotional regulation, and sensory processing needs. By joining us at the start of our journey, you will help shape a culture where small wins are celebrated as major milestones. Your Role and Impact As a Nurture Teacher, your primary focus is to create a safe, predictable, and stimulating environment for students who may find traditional schooling overwhelming. You will deliver a high-quality, personalised curriculum that balances academic progress with emotional well-being. You will work as part of a vibrant multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with specialists to ensure our students receive holistic support. Your day-to-day will involve crafting creative lesson plans, setting meaningful personal targets, and maintaining a non-confrontational, supportive atmosphere. Because we are a growing school, you'll also have the chance to 'lend a hand' and diversify your skills as we evolve together. Schedule and Location This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week). Start: 8:15am daily Finish: 4:45pm (Mon/Wed/Thu), 5:00pm (Tue), and a 4:00pm finish on Fridays to kickstart your weekend.
