Specialist Educator Opening: SEN Teaching Post - Liverpool Randstad Education is immediately seeking a certified, energetic, and highly effective Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for an ongoing, full-time, long-term position at a prestigious school based in Liverpool.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and execute captivating, highly differentiated lessons that precisely address and satisfy the unique requirements documented in all students Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Utilise both formal and informal assessment tools, meticulously track and interpret pupil data, and adapt teaching strategies instantly to guarantee maximum attainment
Select, create, and adapt all teaching materials and classroom activities to ensure the curriculum is fully accessible and meaningful for every learner
Work closely alongside Teaching Assistants, outside professionals, and parents/carers to implement a unified, multi-faceted strategy for student support
Establish a safe, structured, and profoundly inclusive classroom environment that models outstanding conduct and champions the effort and success of all pupils
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven, extensive teaching experience with students presenting various Special Educational Needs within a UK educational environment
Thorough and up-to-date understanding of SEN codes of practice, different intervention methods, and advanced differentiation techniques
Must be highly patient, resourceful, flexible, and proactive, and demonstrate outstanding capabilities in managing the classroom
Possess a current, clear Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared to apply for one without delay upon securing the role
Nice to have:
A specialist SEN qualification (such as NASENCO) or extensive experience working with pupils with the most complex learning needs
