Job Description:

SEN Teacher role in a primary school's Autism Resource Provision (ARP). Part-time (Wednesday to Friday). January start to cover sickness absence. Temporary role anticipated to continue for at least 8 weeks. The school is based in Carshalton, easily accessible by public transport and by car.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take the lead in a Key Stage 2 class within a specialist Resource Base
  • Deliver a sensory-based curriculum tailored to the diverse communication styles and learning needs of pupils in the KS2 class
  • Nurturing, inclusive, and developmental learning experiences

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher status with experience or a passion to move in to teaching students with SEN
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of Autism
  • Has high expectations for all learners and a strong belief in inclusive education
  • Brings compassion, resilience, and outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Is committed to continuous professional growth and positive outcomes for pupils
