Are you a dedicated educator who believes that every child deserves a bespoke path to success? We are seeking a compassionate and innovative SEN Teacher to join our Mansfield-based team. In this role, you won't just be following a syllabus; you will be 'architecting' learning experiences for young people (ages 7-19) who require a more holistic, multi-sensory approach to education. Our learners often face challenges related to ASC, SEMH, and complex cognition or learning needs. Your mission is to help them re-engage with education, build lost confidence, and achieve milestones that once felt out of reach.
Job Responsibility:
Design and deliver creative, flexible lesson plans for small groups (primarily KS3/4) that cater to individual interests and EHCP goals
Focus on the 'whole child' by supporting academic progress alongside vital social and emotional development
Work with Learning Managers to refine learner profiles, track progress, and contribute to a dynamic, evolving curriculum
Act as a champion for your students, ensuring their voices are heard and their safety and wellbeing are always the priority
Planning and executing individualised schemes of work
Maintaining detailed records for EHCP reviews and transition planning
Upholding rigorous safeguarding and risk management standards
Contributing to a culture of continuous professional development
