Job Description:

A special needs school in Wellingborough is looking for a full-time SEN teacher to deliver lessons for students with autism and learning difficulties. The role starts February 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, teach, and assess lessons tailored to individual students
  • Work with SEN students to ensure they meet their learning goals
  • Develop and implement IEPs
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching SEN students
  • Strong classroom management and teaching strategies for diverse learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Two references from the last 2 years required
  • Must meet the minimum experience, training or qualifications stated
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
