SEN Educator Role. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher. This is a serious, long-term job for a professional who is committed to helping students with diverse learning needs. Job Responsibility:
Preparing and delivering focused lessons that meet different student needs
Checking student progress and using results to improve teaching
Making learning materials accessible for all students
Working closely with support staff, parents, and other essential services
Keeping the classroom organised, safe, and positive
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory
Proven work history teaching students with a range of Special Educational Needs in a UK school
Excellent understanding of SEN rules, effective intervention methods, and how to adapt lessons for different learners
You must be patient, flexible, take initiative, and be strong in handling the classroom
A current, clear Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be ready to secure one quickly
Nice to have:
Additional training or significant experience with students who have very complex learning difficulties is highly valued
