Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver tailored educational programs to meet individual student needs
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them to understand and complete tasks
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and independence
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to managers and parents as needed
  • Collaborate with educational professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Support students in developing social skills and emotional resilience
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • QTS is essential
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
