Job Description

Are you a dedicated educator who believes that every child deserves a bespoke path to success? We are seeking a compassionate and innovative SEN Teacher to join our Mansfield-based team. In this role, you won't just be following a syllabus; you will be "architecting" learning experiences for young people (ages 7-19) who require a more holistic, multi-sensory approach to education. Our learners often face challenges related to ASC, SEMH, and complex cognition or learning needs. Your mission is to help them re-engage with education, build lost confidence, and achieve milestones that once felt out of reach.

Job Responsibility

  • Personalise the Journey: Design and deliver creative, flexible lesson plans for small groups (primarily KS3/4) that cater to individual interests and EHCP goals
  • Foster Growth: Focus on the "whole child" by supporting academic progress alongside vital social and emotional development
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work with Learning Managers to refine learner profiles, track progress, and contribute to a dynamic, evolving curriculum
  • Advocate: Act as a champion for your students, ensuring their voices are heard and their safety and wellbeing are always the priority
  • Planning and executing individualised schemes of work
  • Maintaining detailed records for EHCP reviews and transition planning
  • Upholding rigorous safeguarding and risk management standards
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous professional development

Requirements

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ideally a relevant Level 6 qualification
