Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and caring Teacher to join our partnered esteemed SEN School in Lowestoft. As an Unqualified Teacher, you'll help deliver engaging, adapted lessons to children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural challenges. You'll be supported with training and guidance to grow and develop in the role.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting with the planning and delivery of tailored lessons
Supporting students both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff
Contributing to classroom management and student engagement

Requirements:

A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEN
Patience, empathy, and a willingness to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience working with children or young people (education or care setting preferred but not essential)
A commitment to professional development and a career in education
