Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team at this amazing School in Luton. As a SEN Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting the education and development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full time long term to permanent role available to start from September. The School provides specialist education for 7-18 year olds with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). Our pupils may have a number of diagnoses including: ASD, ACES, ADHD, FASD, anxiety and/or, communication and interaction, cognition, and learning needs. They aim to provide young people with an educational experience that will not only extend their academic skills but will also promote personal growth and help to build self-esteem.

Job Responsibility:

Working with small groups and 1:1
Assisting pupils with academic tasks
provide high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally
Safeguarding all children
Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs

Requirements:

Teaching experience & qualifications - PGCE, QTS
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
Relevant SEN teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
