A highly successful and well-regarded Special School in Slough, catering for pupils aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of Special Educational Needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties (with Profound and Multiple Needs), and Autism, is expanding! We are thrilled to be opening a new satellite school and are seeking dedicated, qualified teachers to join our pioneering team.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and Deliver an engaging, individualised curriculum that addresses the diverse and complex needs of our pupils
Demonstrate expertise in a range of SEN strategies (e.g., TEACCH, Makaton, PECS, etc., or a willingness to learn)
Effectively Manage a classroom environment and lead a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants
Collaborate closely with parents, carers, and a range of multi-disciplinary professionals
Show commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to the wider school community
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
A genuine passion and commitment to inclusive education
