Use a Lifetime of Experience to Shape a Brand-New Community. Location: Chaldon, Surrey (with occasional travel to Caterham). Salary: £34,398 - £48,913 (M1 - UPS1 Fringe). Bonus: £5,000 Welcome Bonus. Contract: Full-time, Permanent. You've seen every change in the curriculum, but you know that at the heart of it all is the child. We are looking for a practitioner who brings the calm, reflective wisdom that only comes with experience. As a founding teacher on the Upper Pay Scale (up to £48,913), your input will shape our curriculum and mentor the next generation of SEN educators. Why This Role is Different: We don't believe in 'one size fits all.' Our students follow a broad, exciting curriculum tailored to their specific passions and interests. You won't be doing this alone; you will work within a model of small class sizes and high levels of classroom support, backed by a supernumerary multi-disciplinary intervention team. The Essentials: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Hours: 40 hours per week (8:15 am start; finish times vary between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm). Flexibility: While based in Chaldon, you may occasionally support our satellite site in nearby Caterham.
