Job Description

We are seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a brand-new, therapeutic specialist school located in the beautiful surroundings of Foxton, South West of Cambridge. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a nurturing community that transforms the lives of young people with complex needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing imaginative lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities and sensory needs
  • Working alongside a multidisciplinary team and parents to ensure holistic support for every child
  • Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and therapeutic learning environment
  • Monitoring development through a lens of small wins that lead to life-changing outcomes

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A proven track record of successful teaching (Primary experience is highly valued)
  • A deep understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to adapt it fluidly
  • The patience and imagination to motivate pupils who may have previously struggled in mainstream settings
