Job Responsibility:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with various special educational needs
Assessing student progress through formal and informal methods, analysing performance data to inform instruction
Adapting learning materials to ensure accessibility for all students
Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals
Fostering a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Creating differentiated lesson plans
implementing assessment strategies
modifying resources
working with support staff and parents
and managing classroom behaviour
Requirements:
Proven experience in teaching students with a range of special educational needs within the UK education system
A thorough understanding of SEN policies, effective intervention strategies, and current best practices in SEN education
Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership skills
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A current, clear Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one immediately
Experience in adapting teaching methods and resources for diverse learning requirements
