Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking an exceptional Special Needs Teacher for an immediate, full-time, long-term opening in Sefton. We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate educator to work with students who have a range of complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD).

Job Responsibility:

  • Lesson Planning: Create and implement highly differentiated lesson plans designed to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Curriculum Framework: Develop teaching materials that align with the P Scales framework
  • Student Engagement: Build strong rapport with students to promote a sense of trust and encourage their personal and academic growth
  • Instructional Techniques: Employ creative and resilient teaching methods to ensure a positive and effective learning atmosphere
  • Care and Support: Provide assistance with personal care routines as needed

Requirements:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
  • Essential prior experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills are a must
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
