Job Description

The Role: Impact Beyond the Classroom. Are you an educator who believes that a standard classroom isn't the only place where learning happens? We are seeking a versatile and empathetic SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will support young people (ages 7-19) who have faced significant barriers to mainstream education. • Advocacy & Support: Beyond teaching, you will act as a champion for your students, building the trust required for them to overcome anxiety and academic hurdles
  • Holistic Tracking: You'll work alongside Learning Managers and families to document progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and ensure every milestone is celebrated
  • A Safe Space: You will maintain a nurturing, inclusive environment where safeguarding is the top priority and every student feels seen

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • SEN Fluency: Experience adapting teaching strategies for learners with diverse needs, particularly those with anxiety or social-emotional challenges
  • Communication: The ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies
  • Resourcefulness: A creative approach to visual and structured teaching strategies
  • Mobility: As you will support different local learning environments, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle (with business insurance) are mandatory
