Qualified SEN Teacher - Cranleigh Based Specialist School. Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS Teacher with a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Job Responsibility

  • Lead a class and work closely with dedicated support staff, including Teaching Assistants and a multi-disciplinary therapy team
  • develop and implement personalised educational and support plans (e.g., EHCPs)
  • monitor, record, and analyse student data to track progress and inform future planning
  • contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and effective learning environment where every young person can achieve their potential
  • participate in practical and theoretical training, including positive behaviour support techniques

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • proven experience teaching young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • ability to design, plan, and deliver highly differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles and abilities
  • a positive, patient, and resilient approach to working with children who may present with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • a full, clean driving licence and the ability to drive
