We are looking for SEN Teachers of Primary aged children to join our new school in the Oldham (OL8) area, you will be working with children aged 5-19 in a specialist SEN environment. Thornycroft School will be a brand-new, independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for up to 70 pupils. Based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, the school will meet the diverse needs of pupils aged 5-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism. We provide a holistic, bespoke curriculum with rich learning opportunities that enable young people to develop their functional life skills in order to experience a high quality of life.

Requirements:
QTS or QTLS Qualification
Have proven teaching and learning experience
Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience
Nice to have:
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standard
Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills
Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs
Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education
