We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and committed SEN Teacher to join our team and deliver a truly personalised learning experience for our young people. As an SEN Teacher, you will have the ability to teach both Maths and Science to learners aged between 7 and 19. Working in small groups or 1:1 settings, you will deliver an engaging, flexible curriculum to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners. You will collaborate closely with Site Lead Teachers to design innovative, multi-sensory learning experiences that support each child's individual needs, interests, and goals. Your teaching will focus on: Building confidence and improving engagement; Helping learners progress academically, socially, and emotionally; Ensuring safety, wellbeing, and inclusion remain at the heart of everything you do.
Job Responsibility
Create and review personalised learning programmes, lesson plans, and schemes of work
Use varied approaches to meet diverse needs and maximise student interest
Involve young people in decisions regarding their own learning journeys
Support Learning Managers with learner profiles, SEN information, and progress reports
Contribute to subject-specific improvements and record-keeping for commissioning bodies
Commit to ongoing development and stay updated on SEN best practices
