This Ofsted 'Outstanding' day school for children aged 4-19 is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, and Nursery Workers to become part of their vibrant teaching support team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Teaching and Support: Implement individualised curriculum's, plan and deliver lessons focusing on communication and life skills
  • Behavioural Support: Use theory-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our pupils
  • Personal Care: Encourage and assist pupils in maintaining hygiene standards
  • Progress Monitoring: Ensure teaching methods are effective and tailored to each child's needs
  • Additional Duties: Assist with break time supervision and support activities like playground and snack time

Requirements:

  • Experience: Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children and disabilities
  • Qualifications: Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English Language & Maths or equivalent
  • Skills: Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour and providing personal/intimate care when needed
  • Composure: Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
