Job Responsibility:
Teaching and Support: Implement individualised curriculum's, plan and deliver lessons focusing on communication and life skills
Behavioural Support: Use theory-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our pupils
Personal Care: Encourage and assist pupils in maintaining hygiene standards
Progress Monitoring: Ensure teaching methods are effective and tailored to each child's needs
Additional Duties: Assist with break time supervision and support activities like playground and snack time
Requirements:
Experience: Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children and disabilities
Qualifications: Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English Language & Maths or equivalent
Skills: Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour and providing personal/intimate care when needed
Composure: Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
