Randstad Education is recruiting compassionate and reliable 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils who require additional help to engage with learning and school life. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing consistent, tailored support to a child within a classroom setting. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with an individual pupil, supporting them academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school day. Your responsibilities may include adapting learning tasks, reinforcing positive behaviour, supporting communication, and helping the pupil manage routines and transitions. You will follow guidance from the class teacher and SEN team, ensuring that support strategies are implemented consistently. This role requires a calm and patient approach, as well as the ability to respond positively to challenging situations. Experience supporting pupils with SEN such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties is highly desirable, although candidates with relevant childcare, youth work, or support experience are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements
Have experience working with children or young people
Be flexible, resilient, and nurturing
Be confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply
Have the right to work in the UK
