SEN Support Specialist - Wirral. Do you have a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for helping children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you eager to play a vital role in their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Specialist to provide bespoke assistance and help students flourish.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of exciting lessons that are adapted for a wide variety of pupil abilities
  • Help students understand the curriculum and develop crucial academic competencies
  • Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that inspires engagement and a love for school
  • Observe and record pupil development, offering necessary support and helpful feedback to ensure growth

Requirements:

  • Real-world, non-teaching experience in a school environment supporting pupils
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal skills to clearly deliver instructions and understand student requirements
  • Previous experience in a school setting, including comfort with personal care duties
  • The ability to remain composed and patient when working with students who have different learning speeds, needs, and behaviours
  • An active Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one immediately
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Able to commence work straight away
