SEN Teaching Assistant Position - Knowsley. Are you an empathetic and dedicated individual ready to take on a rewarding role in education? We are searching for a reliable and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN department in Knowsley. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting in September.
Job Responsibility:
Provide direct support to students with special educational needs in classroom activities and one-on-one sessions
Help foster student engagement and emotional well-being
Maintain detailed records of student behaviour and progress
Liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and other specialists
Cultivate strong relationships with students, educators, and families
Contribute positively as a member of a collaborative team
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 months of experience working with children with SEN in a UK classroom environment
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to obtain one)
The legal right to work in the UK
Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
