SEN Specialist Educator Vacancy | Knowsley | Permanent Role. Randstad Education is partnering with a supportive school to recruit a dedicated professional for a full-time, stable teaching role. Job Responsibility:

  • Design and execute highly differentiated lessons specifically adapted for students with diverse special educational needs, ensuring engagement and accessibility for every individual
  • Conduct continuous formal and informal assessments to accurately track student development and use performance data to strategically adjust teaching plans
  • Modify learning resources and teaching aids to remove barriers and ensure the curriculum is fully accessible to all learners
  • Engage in close collaboration with teaching assistants, caregivers, and external professional services to provide comprehensive and holistic student support
  • Establish and maintain a positive, well-structured, and fully inclusive learning space, employing highly effective behaviour management techniques

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Demonstrable, substantial experience teaching pupils with a range of SEN within the UK educational landscape
  • A valid, clear Enhanced DBS check (or the ability to secure one promptly)
  • Thorough knowledge of current SEN legislation, effective pedagogical approaches, and tailored intervention strategies
  • Proven attributes including resilience, patience, excellent communication, and robust classroom leadership skills
