Job Description:

A highly regarded secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking a graduate passionate about working with children with SEND/SEMH needs. The role involves supporting pupils in and out of lessons, assisting class teachers, and monitoring interventions. Ideal for psychology and sociology graduates pursuing careers in educational psychology or mental health.

Job Responsibility:

Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
Supporting pupils in and out of lessons (KS3, KS4, KS5)
Monitoring and recording interventions
Setting targets for individuals to work towards

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, confident individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude
A graduate from a reputable university
Highly motivated and passionate about working with children
Experience with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
