Are you a resilient and creative Secondary Teacher looking to transition into a specialist setting? Randstad Education is seeking an SEN Teacher for a dedicated secondary provision in Horley. This school caters to students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Complex Learning Barriers. This is a role for a teacher who excels at building rapport with 'hard-to-reach' teenagers and who believes that every student, regardless of their past educational trauma, deserves a fresh start and a pathway to independence.
Job Responsibility
Curriculum Adaptation: Deliver a modified KS3/KS4 curriculum that balances core academics with life skills and emotional literacy.
Vocational Guidance: Prepare students for post-16 transitions, focusing on functional skills and entry-level qualifications.
