Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Science Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Sefton. This is a full-time, term-time role starting immediately or in September, with long-term potential for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and teaching science lessons tailored to individual Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Using sensory and visual resources to support understanding of scientific concepts
  • Creating a calm, inclusive environment where every child can access the curriculum
  • Collaborating with support staff and external professionals to meet student needs
  • Assisting with personal care duties, where necessary

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Required
  • UK classroom experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and adaptive teaching skills
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive and innovative education
  • Immediate or September 2025 availability
