Randstad Education is working closely with specialist SEN schools across Liverpool to recruit a dynamic and compassionate SEN Science Teacher to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time, term-time position with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. As an SEN Science Teacher, you'll deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to students with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and complex learning difficulties. Your role will involve simplifying key scientific concepts and creating meaningful, hands-on experiences to inspire curiosity and learning.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering science lessons adapted to students' individual learning levels and styles
Planning and preparing lessons that align with the P Scales or equivalent curriculum
Creating a safe, supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour
Encouraging communication, independence, and confidence through practical activities
Supporting pupils with personal care, where required
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching students with SEN in a UK setting
Strong subject knowledge in science and creative teaching strategies
Immediate availability for a full-time position
