Are you a dedicated Science teacher passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs? Do you have the skills to create inclusive, engaging science lessons tailored to diverse learning needs? If you want to make a meaningful impact on SEN pupils' education, this role is for you. As an SEN Science Teacher, you will deliver accessible, stimulating science lessons to students with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver differentiated science lessons based on P Scales and other SEN frameworks
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and abilities
Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and learning
Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to promote engagement and progress
Support personal care needs as required to facilitate learning
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
Eligible to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain
Available full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Experience teaching Science to SEN pupils in UK schools preferred
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
