A busy private family based in Knightsbridge is seeking an experienced, professional and dedicated SEN Rota Nanny / Manny to join their fully staffed household. This is an outstanding opportunity for a specialist nanny to make a meaningful and lasting difference to the life of one child, aged 11, who has diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD. The role offers a high degree of professional autonomy, extensive international travel and a structured, well-supported working environment within a well-established household team. The child has two younger siblings, each with their own nanny, and the families work collaboratively and cohesively together. The rota is working 7 days on, 14 days off, enabling an excellent work / life balance.
Job Responsibility
Providing consistent, high-quality one-to-one care for the child throughout the rota period, including during evenings, weekends and school holidays
Promoting the child’s development, wellbeing and emotional regulation through structured, engaging and tailored activities
Setting clear, consistent boundaries and supporting positive behaviour in line with the child’s individual needs
During school hours: completing administrative tasks, planning age-appropriate and interest-led activities, organising schedules and preparing for upcoming periods of care
Creating enriching indoor and outdoor experiences suited to the child’s interests, abilities and developmental goals
Collaborating closely with the wider nanny team and household staff, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care
Travelling internationally with the family during school holidays and European trips throughout the year
Maintaining professional standards and records relevant to the child’s care and progress
Requirements
Proven experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD
A background in specialist SEN childcare, education, behavioural support, youth work, coaching or a closely related field
Energetic, proactive and engaging, with a warm and positive approach and a good sense of humour
Calm, patient and resilient, with the ability to support emotional regulation and manage challenging behaviour with confidence
Highly organised with excellent communication and teamwork skills
Confident working independently with a significant level of autonomy, whilst also being a strong and collaborative team player
Happy to travel extensively, including internationally
Comfortable living within a family home (private accommodation provided) and being around three family dogs
Previous rota experience is advantageous but not essential — candidates with strong relevant specialist experience are encouraged to apply
