Job Description:

An inclusive Inner London school in East London is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN & Mental Health Support Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs who also require additional emotional and mental health care in a nurturing environment, starting September 2025.

Job Responsibility:

Work collaboratively with SEN coordinators, pastoral staff, and external professionals to provide tailored support

Requirements:

Interest in supporting children with SEN and mental health needs
Empathy, patience, and good communication skills
Willingness to learn and apply strategies to support emotional wellbeing and behaviour
Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs and work effectively within a team
Commitment to professional development, particularly in SEN and mental health awareness
