Job Description:

SEN Maths Teacher - Empowering Every Student in Mathematics. With the right support, every student can achieve success in math. Are you a patient and flexible educator who can adapt numeracy instruction to meet diverse learning needs?

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing differentiated and engaging math lessons that align with student's Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Working with students who have special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is required
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
  • Proven experience teaching math to students with SEN in the UK
  • Availability Monday through Friday
  • Experience creating and delivering adapted math lessons for students with SEN in UK schools
  • Ability to link numeracy concepts to real-life skills and EHCP goals
  • Make math concepts accessible through practical, hands-on examples
  • Use interactive and multi-sensory teaching methods to engage students
  • Foster confidence and independence in learners
  • Provide personal care support as needed
